Flat Jesus was created as a way to keep our church connected as we approach the busy summer season. Follow the steps below and take Flat Jesus with you and see what happens!
Color Flat Jesus. Be Creative! Cut out Flat Jesus. You may choose to laminate Flat Jesus (to protect him when he tried to walk on water) and you may want to attach a popsicle stick.
Take Flat Jesus wherever you go! (playground, camp, family reunion, vacation, dinner) and take lots of pictures!
Email your picture of Flat Jesus to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will post on our Facebook page.
Visit LCDR’s Facebook page to see where all Flat Jesus has been and share with others about where you see Jesus this summer.
And remember the real Jesus is always with you!
Dates: Sunday, July 14 – Wednesday, July 17.
ROAR! Where kids explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that power them through this wild life!
We will serve a meal nightly from 5:30 to 6:00 with VBS programming going from 6:15-8:15. We look forward to seeing you and your children for another exciting VBS experience!
Children age 4 (at time of VBS) and through Grade 5 (going into 6th) may participate in Dells Community Vacation Bible School. Students entering Grades 7 or above may volunteer as crew leaders or assistants for the week or they may choose to help at one of the VBS Daily Stations.
Many adult volunteers are also needed, particularly as crew leaders. Please complete the registration form and return to the LCDR Office no later than July 7th to be ensured a spot. If you have any questions regarding VBS, please email me at email@example.com. Forms are also on our website.
Thank you so much for helping to make the Dells Community VBS a success! May God bless you always!
Why Confirmation? What is the purpose of Confirmation? What are our goals?
The reason we do confirmation is to provide a guided time for students to study and learn about the Christian faith. This will take you through scripture, as well as working through Marin Luther’s Small Catechism. Our goal is that students will finish confirmation with a working knowledge of the Scripture, the Small Catechism, and an understanding of the basics of the church. This includes some memorization, weekly attendance at class and worship. Our hope is to provide a foundation of knowledge that will give each student guidance and support throughout their lives.
